Barn Visitors Center, Meeting Room Rental

Brandywine Battlefield - The Road to Recognition, Friday May 18

Join us from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. for an exhibit opening and reception to celebrate the 235 anniversary of the Battle of Brandywine. The Chadds Ford Historical Society and the Christian C. Sanderson Museum are co-sponsoring this exhibit to tell the story of how the Battlefield has gained recognition and protection. Click here to learn more.

Historic Scavenger Hunt Series for Children, Sunday, June 3

Search historic artifacts for answers to questions. Explore a school house from the 1800's, the history of Chadds Ford and colonial customs. Weather friendly-all events are indoors!  Cost is $3 per child (members are free). Arrive anytime between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Questions take approximately 45 minutes to answer. Recommended ages: 9-14 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
